Para Medical Education is as important as main medical education in every sense of the word. Para Medical personnel are a vital force in safeguarding the health of the public. In today’s world where the medical sector faces more and more new challenges, the importance of Para Medical Education is assuming greater significance day by day.

In this context the welfare of Para Medical personnel also assumes greater importance. Which is why the need for an association arose to address their grievances and thus resolve their problems so as to help them do a better service to the society.

Keeping in view of the above facts an association by name Para Medical Lab Education & Welfare Association (PMLEWA) was formed by certain social conscious persons in the year 2000.
